Do you have any pets? If so – what kind? What are their names?
We have a mini golden doodle named Goldie. Her name sounds unoriginal; however, my son (then 5) went with me to the sonogram of my daughter (now 12). He was so excited when they said, it’s a girl. He said we must name her Goldie Chamenie. So, that is the story behind our dog’s name.
What are you most likely doing on a Saturday afternoon?
On a Saturday afternoon, I am most likely at a sporting event for my kids.
Favorite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant is Mi Dia in Texas. Although it is Mexican food, they have a variety of food. My girls love the salmon. I love the shrimp tacos.
Favorite quote?
My favorite quote is from Mother Theresa, “If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.”
If you could time travel, where would you go & why?
If I could travel anywhere it would be somewhere on the Mediterranean Sea. It looks so gorgeous to me. I also want to swim with the pigs in the Bahamas.
What is the nerdiest thing you do in your free time?
The nerdiest thing I do in my free time is read. I love it, so please pass any book suggestions my way.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in a tiny town called Holliday, Texas. I rode horses and helped round up cattle. I also explored the salt flats and had a fort with my friends. I cherish those days.
If you could magically gain one talent, what would it be?
If I could gain a talent, it would be hard to limit to just one wish. However, I would love to be an amazing cook.
Would you rather explore a new planet or the deepest part of the ocean? Why?
I would explore a new planet. It would be amazing to discover new terrain. I came too close with an eel this past summer to have a desire for the deep ocean.
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
I want to white water raft in Jackson Hole, WY, see the leaves in the fall in the North East, explore the sand dunes and go sandboarding.
