More networking opportunities? Tips, tricks, and never-thought-of-before use cases? Best practices for individual regions? Check, check…and check. Introducing COHIVES, short for the Cohort Hub for Innovation, Vision, and Education—ParentSquare’s new virtual user groups for small and medium business customers (districts with student populations from 1 to 15,000).
How COHIVES started
Like all things ParentSquare, COHIVES was created to help. And as part of our Customer Success team’s goals to continually enhance support and opportunities for our users, they took feedback seriously when customers expressed interest in integrating more deeply into the ParentSquare community through user groups. With this feedback in mind, the Customer Success team launched a pilot program to test the feasibility of hosting virtual user groups within the same geographic region—and guess what? It worked! On the heels of a successful pilot and tons of valuable learnings, ParentSquare hosted the first official COHIVES in April, with upwards of 30 customers attending three sessions.
COHIVES encourage collaboration and community while providing powerful insights
The inaugural COHIVES were a massive success. ParentSquare customers shared how they leverage the platform to meet their unique needs and provided feedback to other districts. From coordinating and consolidating posts ahead of time to avoid message fatigue with parents and guardians, to how Secure Document Delivery saved one district $10,000 on postage, to how a ParentSquare rollout helped a district clean up its data by standardizing student contact information for ongoing consistency—the collaborative discussion was incredible.
Through sharing experiences with the platform and K-12 communications in general, customers enjoyed networking over a common passion: serving their school communities. Members of our Customer Success team gleaned powerful insights into ways we can grow and evolve the ParentSqure platform and expand our support initiatives to ensure every customer feels heard, valued, and supported throughout their K-12 communications journey.
What’s next for COHIVES?
The initial success of the pilot and the three sessions in April underscored the importance of user groups for the broader ParentSquare community. The sessions also provided the building blocks for a customer-led support framework that we will continue to iterate on so ParentSquare can meet every customer where they are—literally.
If you are a small and medium business customer, the next COHIVES are on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 11-12 p.m. EST, and Friday July 19, 2024 from 1-2 p.m. EST.
