Our team was busy in February with some exciting product updates. Highlights include Conference Sign Ups renamed as Appointment Sign Ups, improvements to our popular Secure Documents Delivery feature, and Invite Members action moved to Data Assistant.
Conference Sign Ups Renamed as Appointment Sign Ups
We realize schools are using Parent Sign Ups for more than Parent-Teacher Conference Sign ups, such as scheduling on-campus technology pick-ups and drop-offs, and now COVID-19 testing or vaccination. Therefore, we have changed the name of this feature to Appointment Sign Ups.
ParentSquare administrators enjoy the same functionality as before, but now with the added ability to request district-level sign ups.
Use case: Districts and schools can now schedule COVID-19 testing or vaccinations. Staff members can select a time slot that works for them, fill out a customized permission form, and edit their appointment if needed. The same applies to the vaccination process. The Appointment Sign Up feature allows districts and schools to test their staff or facilitate the administration of the COVID-19 vaccination in a quick and efficient way, helping keep school communities safe and healthy.
Appointment Sign Ups must be enabled on your ParentSquare account. If you’re an existing customer and would like to review more information on Appointment Sign Ups, click here (login required).
If your district or school is not a current customer but is interested in using the Appointment Sign Ups feature to schedule COVID-19 testing or vaccinations for your staff, please contact our team today for a demo.
Improvements to Secure Document Delivery
Secure Document Delivery is a widely popular feature on the ParentSquare platform. It allows districts and schools to securely send sensitive information, such as report cards, progress reports, and IEPs to parents. Administrators can view reports on delivery statistics to ensure the message was delivered or viewed.
Now, the Secure Documents feature has a new Jobs tab to view and sort all sent, scheduled, and draft jobs. Also new is the ability to cancel a scheduled document before it is sent, in case you need to make last-minute changes.
This update allows administrators to easily view all their secure documents in one place, and toggle between All, Draft, Scheduled, or Sent jobs. It also allows for better oversight and organization of documents, making it even easier to send important information, confirm delivery, and measure engagement.

Invite Members Action Moved to Data Assistant
Do you need to encourage a few parents to register? Do you need to send an invite to new parents or staff? Now invitations to invite users, including staff, students*, and parents, are sent from the Data Assistant. (*If StudentSquare is enabled). We hope this provides a more streamlined experience to manage your ParentSquare users.
