Darlene Rowsam: Account Manager

Meet Darlene Rowsam, Account Manager here at ParentSquare! She works with schools and districts to ensure a successful launch! That includes providing a single point of contact for all of their onboarding questions and concerns.

Where did you grow up?

In a VERY small town in Upstate New York. The same town where my parents grew up, where we raised our two sons, and where they are now raising their families.

What words of wisdom would you pass onto your childhood self?

“You can’t always get what you want, But if you try sometime you find You get what you need” (it’s not a coincidence that this song & I both came out of the 60s) 😉

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

Travel back to Copenhagen, Denmark where I spent time as an exchange student in my Junior year. I am still in touch with my Danish family and would love to go back and visit with “adult eyes”.

What are three things still left on your bucket list?

  1. Alaskan Cruise
  2. Cross Country Summer Road Trip with stops at all of the National Parks
  3. Own a jeep (not for use with #2) 😉

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Popcorn!!

What are you most likely doing on a Saturday afternoon?

Home projects or Cabin projects… never seem to run out of either!

What teacher impacted you the most?

My College Advisor, who convinced me to start over when I was ready to raise the white flag. She instilled confidence, creativity and independence when I needed it most.

Favorite quote?

“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream” ~ C.S. Lewis

What do you like most about working for ParentSquare?

We are a team in every sense of the word. I feel supported and appreciated each and every day!

Darlene has been at ParentSquare since July 7th, 2020.
