Help your community show up for success with these best practices for reducing chronic absenteeism

Now Live: Your Own StudentSquare!

Just like schools, the end of the school year is always the busiest time for our team here at ParentSquare. From the customer success team cheerfully onboarding new schools and districts, to our engineering team heads down developing new features, everyone is working hard on their very own, “end of the year project.”

This year, we’re thrilled to share with you a very exciting feature we have worked on: StudentSquare!

StudentSquare has all the capabilities currently available for teachers to communicate with parents, now for students. With StudentSquare, you can engage with students in new ways — with messaging, pictures, online forms, and signups — reaching them where they are, at the tip of their fingers.

“ParentSquare was created to bridge the communication gap between administration, classrooms, PTA/PTO, and parents. We wanted a central location for parents to be able to connect that was accessible to every family, and now we’re excited to take the next step and introduce this to yet another stakeholder: students,” said President Anupama Vaid. “It was the natural next step for us to provide a platform where administrators and teachers can truly reach and engage their students where they are, on their phones, bringing all workflows from paper to online.”

We talked to hundreds of our administrators from a variety of schools, districts, and states to get a deeper understanding of the needs of every school and how we could better streamline the experience. There was one recommendation that received the majority of votes from our school leaders … and that was StudentSquare!

We hope you are as excited as we are about our new endeavor together with you!
