You may have heard the saying: you can’t manage what you can’t measure. Measuring allows you to uncover issues, see patterns and set targets for progress. However, many important things can be difficult to assign a number to at first.
Our new dashboard is our big step towards giving you your very own Parent Engagement Score, coming in the 2018-19 school year. With this release, we have divided the dashboard into 5 sections with lots of numbers, so you can see at a glance where communication is thriving and areas that might need some improvement.
Here’s what you get in the 5 sections
1. Overall Snapshot
This gives you the most important number – the number of student families you are reaching. In this section, you can easily view incorrect or missing parent contact emails or phone numbers so you can boast 100% reach at your school.
2. Reach and Deliverability
See how your parent community is interacting over different communication mediums. Do you believe you should have more emails? Are you missing cell phone numbers? Have parents downloaded the app? Find it all here!
3. ParentSquare Features Usage
ParentSquare is best at engaging your families when you are using all it has to offer. Find out what you are using well and how you could be utilizing it better.
4. Interaction
Ever wondered how your families interact with the data and opportunities you provide to them? Find it here. Note that this is proportional to your use as above..
5. Distribution
In this section, see how different grade levels are communicating with the families, where you can improve and who on your staff you can leverage for in-staff learning.
Other than the new dashboard sections, administrators also receive weekly email summary of Posts, Alerts, Direct Messages, Top Authors, and Reach.
We are confident that this new dashboard and weekly summary will help you stay on track, and help with reporting and reaching your engagement goals. Please let us know how we can improve on these. Feel free to contact us at support@parentsquare.com with any further questions. We look forward to your feedback.
* The 3 new dashboard sections will be available for this school year on a limited release. The full version will be available for the 2018-19 school year.
