ParentSquare Names Sashangar Sreetharan as Chief Financial Officer

ParentSquare, the award-winning unified school-home communications platform for K-12 education, has announced that Sashangar (Sash) Sreetharan is joining the company as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his new role, Sreetharan will be responsible for leading the company’s accounting and finance functions.

Sreetharan has extensive experience in business operations and finance. He started his career as an analyst at Goldman Sachs and went to serve as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. Later, he worked as an investor at The Invus Group, a venture capital and private equity firm. After a brief stint running a venture capital-backed startup, he served as vice president of Serent Capital’s portfolio operations group where he worked closely with the ParentSquare team.

“Our past experiences with Sash convinced us that he would be an invaluable addition to our team,” ParentSquare Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Sohit Wadhwa said. “We’re excited to have him contribute to the company’s growth and its mission of providing communications equity to schools and districts across the country.”
