Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Dallas, Texas – Oak Cliff neighborhood to be exact.
What’s your favorite holiday & why?
I would say Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It’s got all of the Big ‘F’s – Food, Family, Friends, Fall Weather, and Football.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go & why?
Italy and India for two of my favorite cuisine types
Favorite movie and/or book?
Favorite book, Old Man’s War Series by John Scalzi – military science fiction
What words of wisdom would you pass onto your childhood self?
Listen to your Mom, she does know best! And that Google stock you heard about, “Buy It!”

One thing you cannot live without?
I’m way into EDC (everyday carry) so I’d say my pocket knife.
What are you most likely doing on a Saturday afternoon?
Kid’s sports, farmers market or visiting family.
Would you rather explore a new planet or the deepest part of the ocean? Why?
I’d say the deepest part of the ocean. There is so much that is so close to us but still undiscovered and unseen by the human eye.
In what ways are you the same as your childhood self?
I have a strange habit of taking one sock or shoe off when i zone out. i.e. while watching TV or browsing the internet. Started when I was a kid.
